What is BeautiFill liposuction?
Liposuction removes localized fat to change body contours. BeautiFill by Alma uses laser-assisted technology during fat removal and can also support harvesting fat for a planned transfer.
Liposuction is a surgical procedure, not a weight-loss treatment. Your consultation will address skin quality, the proposed treatment area, and whether another approach would better fit your goals.
Candidacy is personal.
Dr. Milanes evaluates your medical history, medications, prior procedures, and the areas you want to address. Discuss weight stability, nicotine use, and any factors that may affect healing.
The evaluation determines whether treatment is appropriate and which areas can be addressed. A device name alone does not establish candidacy or predict a result.
Understand recovery and risks.
Expect a recovery period. Bruising, swelling, soreness, and activity restrictions can occur; the timing depends on the extent of treatment and your health.
Risks include infection, bleeding, changes in sensation, contour irregularities, anesthesia complications, and blood clots. Laser-assisted techniques can cause heat injury. Your consent discussion should cover your individual risks and alternatives.
A clear plan before you commit.
Ask for a written estimate describing the procedure, anesthesia, follow-up, and any additional fees. Confirm transport, recovery support, garment instructions if applicable, and postoperative contact details.

Can I combine liposuction with fat transfer?
In selected cases, collected fat may be used for a separate transfer plan. Discuss both the donor and recipient areas, added risks, and suitability during your consultation.
Will it tighten all loose skin?
Liposuction does not reliably correct all excess skin. Your clinician will assess skin quality and explain limitations and alternatives.
When can I return to work or exercise?
Your procedure plan and recovery determine timing. Get specific instructions before treatment rather than relying on a fixed online timeline.
